What is Abundance?
The Abundance Health and Healing Center is a Christ centered non-profit ministry dedicated to bringing healing and wholeness to individuals—physically, emotionally and spiritually. Our primary focus is praying for people in need of healing and teaching health education from a Biblical perspective.
Jesus instructed His disciples to "Heal the sick." In following His example, and in obedience to this mandate, the heart of our ministry is to pray for those in need of healing. We do this in our 'Healing Rooms' through a trained prayer ministry team who serve on a voluntary basis. The volunteers come from a wide variety of denominations, thus representing the unified body of Christ.
Health education is the secondary emphasis of the Abundance Health and Healing Center. We offer instructional classes, training seminars and workshops which encompass what the Holy Bible teaches about divine healing, as well as the proper stewardship of our bodies according to Biblical principles.
Above all, the Abundance Health and Healing Center is a place where an individual can personally encounter the manifest Presence of God, thus enabling him to be healed and made whole in body, mind and spirit. One personal, divine encounter with Jesus Christ can heal a body, touch a heart, transform a soul and change a destiny for life!
What are Healing Rooms?
The 'Healing Rooms' of the Abundance Health and Healing Center are a Christ-Centered ministry of prayer for those in need of healing—physically, emotionally and spiritually. We are a cooperative of trained, dedicated volunteers who are born again Christians coming from a wide variety of denominations and churches. Our prayer teams are committed to praying for the sick through the ministry of God's Word, the power of His manifest Presence and compassionate prayer. The Healing Rooms are an outreach for believer's and non-believer's alike. All prayer ministry is individual and confidential, and is provided on a walk-in basis. We are a 501 (C) 3 organization and there are no fees charged for prayer.
What to expect
Prayer ministry will be a unique experience for each individual who comes to receive prayer. Upon arrival, we request that our visitors fill out a simple form with their name, address and prayer request. Quiet worship music in the waiting area helps to prepare our guests for the work of the Holy Spirit. Prayer is then ministered in individual private rooms for confidentiality and quiescence. The peace of God's manifest Presence is resident within each of the Healing Rooms. An individual prayer session may last from 20-40 minutes, depending on the work of the Holy Spirit.
Each individual is assigned a prayer team made up of two or three caring, compassionate, trained team members who work in harmony with each other and the Holy Spirit. Team members never counsel, condemn or judge. They exhort, uplift and bring the truth of God's Word to each ministry session. Many of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are in operation and flow freely with the demonstration of power to heal and set free. The Healing Rooms are a safe, special place where God is free to work through willing and obedient vessels to bring healing, deliverance and salvation to an individuals' life.
