As a born-again Christian, it is vital that you declare God's Word over your body and your circumstances. Declaring God's Word can be defined as 'making known what we already have possession of.' The Hebrew word for declare is amar, which means to say, to speak, or to utter. Making biblical declarations over our lives is an effective way to establish the will of God into our lives. Making declarations for the Christian is simply a matter of speaking forth God's Word.
When we speak the truth of God's Word over our lives, we partner with Him to bring His promises into our lives. In fact, it's essential to our walk of faith. What we speak over and over again we begin to believe. Remember death and life are in the power of the tongue. Do you find yourself speaking the doctors' report or the lab results over and over again? Instead, declare God's Word which will then help to align your heart with His will of health and wholeness for you. We can't be negligent of complacent about this. We must be proactive in speaking God's Word over our lives. The Word of God is alive and powerful and will work to produce health in your body if you will consistently declare it.
Following is a declaration you can speak over your body right now. As you speak it, believe that you are bringing life and health to your body!
I declare Jesus Christ, Jehovah Rapha is my Healer ~ my Great Physician. He created my body and He knows how to heal my body. His report declares that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells within me and gives life to every cell of my body. I take the authority given to me in Luke 10:19 and I renounce a spirit of sickness and disease in my body. I command you to be loosed from my body right now in Jesus’ Name. I renounce every tormenting spirit attached to this sickness in the name of Jesus Christ. I boldly declare that I will not fear, but I put all my trust in the Lord Jesus Christ to restore me and make me whole. I declare that no weapon formed against me will prosper.
I release the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit in my body to heal my body from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. I speak life to every cell, tissue, organ, nerve, gland and system of my body. According to 1 Peter 2:24 I declare my body healed and whole. Resurrection power is flowing through my body right now healing me and making me whole.
Greater is He that is in me, than he who is in the world. I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. I have the victory. The victory is mine. I overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony. And my testimony is Matthew 8:17: Jesus took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses. I declare that I am healed and whole in Jesus’ Name!
